The Environment

One way of helping to protect the environment, not just for ourselves but also for future generations, is to burn wood to heat your home.
Fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas evolve from natural material that
absorbed carbon dioxide from the atmosphere millions of year ago. The
difference between wood and
fossil fuels is one of time scale.
Burning wood also releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. However, the same amount of carbon dioxide is absorbed by the tree whilst growing over the previous few months or years, creating a balance between carbon emitted and absorbed.
Therefore burning wood as a fuel is considered to be carbon neutral.

Exclusive Romotop Stoves - Stromboli N03 - Sheet Metal
The STROMBOLI
N03 Sheet Metal - is a beautifully designed contemporary wood burning stove with a large
curved glass door. The stove rotates on its own axis even when burning so
can be turned in any direction. This feature allows a great view of the
living fire and flames wherever you decide to position the stove.
Large-area glass (400mm wide x 500mm high approx) ensures a superb view of the living fire and flames, the door handle being neatly integrated into the bottom of the frame.
The viewing area of the glass door is kept clean by a secondary air intake ensuring the glass always stays clean.
In order to ensure stability, ROMOTOP have developed a large stoking door with a unique multipoint closing system. The system guarantees stability and quality sealing even for the extraordinarily large glazed door.
The advantages of Romotop Stoves are heat output, virtually dust-free operation and, as a result of perfect combustion, minimal emission of substances harmful to the atmosphere.
The Stromboli is also available with stone cladding that not only looks good but also serves as a function: the stone absorbs the heat from the fire and then slowly releases it into the room even after the fire has burnt out. (see Stromboli 01)
